Bee in the City

We have been given the exciting opportunity to work on the 'Bee In The City' campaign.

During the summer there will be a public art trail throughout Manchester.  The trail will feature up to 85 large worker bee sculptures that will have been decorated by regional profeesional and emerging artists.  This is being run by Manchester City Council in conjuction with Wild in Art.  As part of this project over 100 smaller bees will be decorated by schools and youth clubs and displayed in hives inside high-profile venues.

Our bee has now arrived at school and children will be involved in decorating it.  The children have already started work on their designs and  these ideas will be put together to complete a final design.

We will keep you updated on the bee's progress over the next few weeks.
