News from school

Dear Parents and Carers,

 
Just a reminder that school is closed to pupils tomorrow as the building is being used as a polling station.  Apologies for this inconvenience, school will be open as usual on Friday.
 
 

Recyclable Materials – one of the activities the children will be doing this Friday is “Eco Art.”  Please send in any clean

  • Egg Boxes
  • Magazines 
  • Newspaper
  • Cardboard (preferably thin as it will need cutting into shapes)
  • Bottle lids
 
 
Wellies - we're trying to get together a "school set" of wellies so that we don't have to keep asking you to send them in.   We've nearly managed it but if you have any spare or outgrown pairs of wellies at home (right up to size 8) we'd be very grateful if you could donate them to school.
 
 
Coronation celebration - To mark the occasion of the King’s coronation we will focussing on our King’s passion for the environment and his support of the all things eco!!  On Friday 5th May, all children may come to school either dressed up as an animal or in their own clothes (natural colours if possible).  We will also be having an “Eco Crown competition.”  Make an eco crown out of recycled materials at home and bring it in on Friday 5th May, there will be a prize for each class.
