šŸŽ„āœØ What a wonderful day at the parish Christmas Fair! Huge thanks to Mrs. Pearson, Mr. McNulty, Mrs. Webster, and Mrs. Byrne for lending a hand at the world-famous chocolate tombola! šŸ«šŸŽ‰ It was so heartwarming to see some of our pupils getting involved and supporting the community. šŸ’™ It’s always lovely to see our school spirit extend into parish life. World Youth FUNday 2024.

We are excited to announceĀ the 2024 theme for World Youth Sunday in England and Wales is, ā€˜Let Your Kingdom Come’. Ā This year’s celebration is particularly meaningful as it aligns with the ongoing Year of Prayer, a time of preparation for the upcoming Jubilee Year 2025: ā€˜Pilgrims of Hope’.'

The theme ā€˜Let Your Kingdom Come’ resonates deeply with the mission of young people in the Catholic Church today. It is a call to action, inviting them to be active participants in building God’s Kingdom here on earth. It challenges them to reflect on how they can embody Christ’s love, justice, and peace in their daily lives, and how they can be instruments of God’s will in a world that is in dire need of hope and renewal.

Mini Vinnies had a visitor...

This week’s Faith Lunch was extra special as it was the turn of the Mini Vinnies! šŸ™Œ We were thrilled to be joined by Margaret, a member of our parish SVP, who shared her inspiring story about the SVP—how it all began and how we can get involved in parish life. šŸ’¬āœØ

There were lots of questions, thoughtful discussions, and by the end, we came up with a fantastic action plan to show our commitment to serving others as Mini Vinnies. ā¤ļø We can’t wait to put our plans into action and make a difference!
